Looking north up the line. Remington is no longer a train stop and the buildings that serviced trains and passengers are abandoned or have been converted to other uses such as office space as in the case with the station itself. Time marches on........

I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed looking at your pictures and reading your posts this morning. I was looking for photos of Freeman's Ford on the Rappahannock near Remington where my father grew up (born in 1910). Didn't find it, but your attention to detail, respect for history, and way with words is GREATLY appreciated! Loved the Civil War and canal history.
